I ran my fingers along the smooth side of granite that was Daniel's grave. The snow fell softly in the background, and I could almost hear his voice, as I tasted the salty taste of a tear at my lips. I traced my finger along the scar on my cheek, the only souvenir that I had gotten from the accident that took my Daniel away from me.
